This client knew that we were designing for the best car makers.
When we met, we understood they wanted a completely new and unique brand experience.

With me as the person in charge of the concept, my team delivered 2 Multimedia-Controller versions, 2 Instrument-Cluster versions and diverse videos and prototypes for the Geneva and Shanghai Auto Shows. The project was designed by team of brave designers between Berlin and Shanghai during 3 years.
We are proud to have earned the “Best supplier” award from our client in 2013.

My task: Designing an interactive hub in the car

As main features the car counts with Entertainment, Navigation, Communication, on-board information and cloud services in one device: A car.
The vision: a consistent approach to ensure safety while driving.

Concept specification and wireframes

A little team of 3 thinking heads created tones of post-its and filtered the best ideas in one file.
The main specification has been done in Omnigraffle. Client communication with Keynote and the concept videos with Adobe After Effects.

Prototyping

We made several tests for the main understanding, specific features and the understanding of the visual design.
